United Way of Rutland County celebrated reaching the community’s $565,000 goal at their Annual Meeting and Campaign Celebration on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Holiday Inn.  Board President Marcia Chioffi thanked the crowd in attendance before turning the event over to Carrie Allen, 2011 Campaign Chair for a celebration and awards presentation.  Allen and her team of volunteers were applauded for their incredible campaign efforts.  Thanks to the outstanding support of businesses, employees and individuals in our community, United Way raised $568,640 to support vital non-profit health and human service organizations operating for residents of Rutland County.
