United Way at Work - SNACK SACK!

United Way of Rutland County is happy to highlight Slate Valley Unified School District's "Snack Sack" Program as another grant recipient this year within our 2019 Community Impact Campaign!

Serving children annually within the Western Rutland County Region, the program makes sure that no child goes home wondering where their next meal will come from. We had the honor of interviewing Melissa Hoyer, Snack Sack's Program Director, to learn more about her program and to gather a better sense of the population the program serves. Take a moment to enjoy what Melissa had to say within the attached video!

Everyone at United Way of Rutland County wishes Snack Sack the best of luck in continuing to feed the hungry in our area. 🎒🍽
