Rich Carlson to lead 2010 United Way Campaign!

The board of directors for United Way of Rutland County announced that Rich Carlson will once again serve as Campaign Chairman for the organizations annual fund drive.   For Carlson, this will be his fifth consecutive term in one of the most visible volunteer positions in our community.

United Way financially supports 33 non profit agencies in Rutland County to help residents when they are in need.  “Last year alone, these agencies responded to over 31,000 requests for assistance and it is only getting tougher”, said Carlson.  “United Way is a great organization with local people contributing to help local residents, and I am proud to lend my support and efforts to the 2010 campaign”.
